Bonnie Treaster: Woman Attacks 82-Year-Old Boyfriend In Most Horrifying Way Imaginable

Bonnie Treaster, 46, could make you think twice if you’re a single guy preferring younger women. That’s because, to her 82-year-old boyfriend, she was clearly his physical superior.

Bonnie allegedly attacked the elderly man in a “fit of jealousy,” though it wasn’t clear whether she actually had reason to suspect him of cheating.

Regardless, the unidentified man took the full brunt of Treaster’s wrath. She started with a slap to the face, court documents report the man as saying, then upgraded to throwing household objects at him and punching him in the eye.

Bad as that all sounds, it was about to get much worse.

Bonnie Treaster then allegedly chased the elderly victim to a detached garage, Centre Daily reports, and “threw him on the ground and was on top of him ‘to the point he could hardly breathe,'” the news site adds, quoting the court documents.

With the man nearly helpless underneath her, Bonnie hit him in the head with an exhaust clamp, grabbed a hacksaw nearby, and began trying to strip his pants.

Fighting with everything he had, he was able to get free and escape the garage, but not before Treaster inflicted a severe wound on his groin with the hacksaw.

Bonnie would eventually catch up to him, pursuing him in a pickup truck, the court docs allege, and from there, she took him back to the home where she struck him in the mouth with a model airplane.

The man sustained numerous cuts and bruises, including a minor “brain bleed” and the laceration to his genitals.

Bonnie, on the other hand, was arrested and now faces “two counts each of aggravated assault and simple assault and a summary harassment charge,” adds a separate report from the Daily Mail.

Bail has been set at $75,000.

While role reversal stories like this can be amusing to some, it’s important to note that domestic violence in any situation is a tragic and horrifying experience, and with a man this well along in years, it’s harder to defend oneself.

Domestic violence is also something that affects one in seven men, according to the CDC, yet there is still an almost jovial connotation when society hears about it.

Recently, a British talk show host rather vehemently reminded his audience not to laugh about this sort of thing when it happens to a man.

Jeremy Kyle admonished his audience for laughing at a male guest, who sustained injuries after his girlfriend attacked him.

“It’s not funny, though. Can I tell you why it’s not funny? I don’t want to upset any of the audience because I completely appreciate the fact that you’re here, but I’ll tell you why I don’t think you should laugh. If it was the other way around and a woman sat here and a bloke had locked her in a flat and she had to jump out and injured herself, you lot would not be laughing. You’d be saying, ‘He’s a complete nightmare, he should be locked up and that’s just disgraceful.’ But somehow if it happens to a bloke, that’s funny. That’s not funny is it?”

Do you think the justice system goes too easy on domestic violence, and if Bonnie Treaster is convicted, what punishment would you decide? Sound off in the comments section.
