Bill O’Reilly: Daughter Says He’s A Wife-Beater, Witnessed Father Choke And Drag Her Mother

Recent court documents obtained by Gawker expose shocking revelations about Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly. The documents were partial transcripts from the 2014 custody trial between O’Reilly and his ex-wife Maureen McPhilmy.

The couple divorced in 2011 but their custody battle went on for more than three years. It was resolved earlier this month when the court finally awarded McPhilmy with the custody of their two children. The court’s decision can be explained by what the partial transcripts revealed.

The transcripts contain statements made by Manhattan psychologist Larry Cohen. He was assigned by the Nassau County Supreme Court justice to interview and evaluate each member of O’Reilly’s family.

Cohen testified that O’Reilly’s daughter, who was 15 at the time of the trial, witnessed her father “choking her mom or had his hands around her neck and dragged her down some stairs.”

The psychologist also told the court that the anchor convinced his daughter that McPhilmy was “an adulterer” and that her new stepfather, who was a police detective, was “not a good person.” Cohen also said that O’Reilly told his daughter that spending time in her mother’s house would “ruin her life.”

Furthermore, Cohen’s testimony also revealed that O’Reilly’s daughter also witnessed many of her father’s emotional outbursts, which she found “scary and demeaning.” In the psychologist’s evaluations, O’Reilly himself admitted to these tantrums which he described as “going ballistic.”

When the documents were published last Monday, the Fox News anchor was quick to defend himself. Through his lawyer, O’Reilly made a statement.

“Allegations against me in these circumstances are 100 percent false. I am going to respect this court-mandated confidentiality put in place to protect my children and will not comment any further.”

Gawker also tried contacting Cohen but the psychologist has not returned any of their voicemails.

Over the years, O’Reilly has had a record of questionable behavior. Back in 2004, he was sued by former producer Andrea Mackris for sexual harassment. Controversial tapes were produced wherein the anchor suggested Mackris pleasure herself with a vibrator. In the video, he also spoke of sexually fondling her with the “falafel thing.”

O’Reilly ensued a counterattack with the aid of the New York Post but eventually agreed to settle the sexual harassment case for $5 million to $10 million.

After the recent Baltimore Riots, O’Reilly also made an offensive statement against African-American families. He remarked that they have “no supervision, kids with no fathers – the black neighborhood devastated by the drug gangs who prey upon their own.”
