Telltale’s ‘Game of Thrones’ Series Episode 4 Trailer Released, ‘Sons Of Winter’ Coming Next Week

Telltale’s Game of Thrones: A Telltale Game Series is back with what looks to be another action packed episode. Named “Sons of Winter,” Episode 4 of Game of Thrones looks to continue the tale of House Forrester, giving players another glimpse at iconic places in the A Song of Ice and Fire universe.

As evidenced by the trailer above, Game of Thrones Episode 4 will take players from the sands of Meereen to the snows of the North beyond The Wall. Gared must find The North Grove beyond Castle Black, wading into the Wild North as Jon Snow and the rest of the Night’s Watch marches on Craster’s Keep.

In King’s Landing, Mira must tread carefully as the events of the “Purple Wedding” have made her position rather precarious. How she plays the “Game of Thrones” will depend on your choices, and will either grant you help or doom House Forrester to the fate of so many lesser houses in the Game of Thrones universe. Meanwhile, at Ironrath, Rodrik Forrester must make the decision to rid the Forrester stronghold of House Whitehill, knowing full well his actions could be detrimental to his brother, Ryon Forrester. In Meereen, Asher pleads with Danaerys Targaryen for sellswords to help rid his house of the Whitehills once and for all.

Game of Thrones: A Telltale Game Series is set in the universe of George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire novels, but is based on the HBO television show. Set between the end of Season 3 and the beginning of Season 5, Telltale’s Game of Thrones tells the story of House Forrester, a lesser house who are bannermen to House Stark in the North. Episode 4, “Sons of Winter,” will be launching on May 26 for PC/Mac, PS3 and PS4 users, May 27 for Xbox One/360 players, and May 28 for iOS/Android.

Game of Thrones has been in the headlines ever since Sunday night, when Season 5 aired yet another controversial episode. Outrage over the treatment of Sansa Stark is at an all-time high, though the Game of Thrones actress claims that she rather “loved” filming the scene.

Game of Thrones: A Telltale Game Series has been praised for its extremely well-written story, as well as giving players that “twist” each Game of Thrones fan is waiting for. Episode 4 looks to be as action-packed as any in the series so far, so players should expect to be kept on their toes.
