Taylor Swift Receives High Praise From Zendaya And Laverne Cox

It seems like it’s impossible for Taylor Swift to not make friends with everyone she meets. The singer is rubbing off on actresses like Zendaya Coleman and Laverne Cox. Both women had nothing but high praise for Taylor Swift. Zendaya met the singer on set of their “Bad Blood” music video, while Laverne rubbed elbows with her at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards.

Zendaya, 18, recently opened up about Swift at the launch of the Material Girl Summer Collection at the Macy’s in California. Zendaya is also the new face for the brand. She had nothing but kind words to say about Swift, whom she recently became best buddies with.

The Disney star also dropped hints about the “Bad Blood” music video before it premiered Sunday at the BBMAs.

“She’s just a genius. She’s so smart. People are going to be blown and are going to be obsessed with [the video]. I don’t know how they’re going to think about anything else!”

It looks like Taylor worked her charm on Zendaya. The singer and actress explained why she starred in the infamous video, which takes a direct hit at Katy Perry.

“She’s so open and wants everyone to have fun together…For me, it was just a cool experience ’cause [Taylor] asked me to be a part of it.”

Zendaya is not the only one who’s become BFFs with Taylor Swift. Laverne Cox may be the next one to become the singer’s new BFF. The Orange Is the New Black star spoke to E! News about the singer at the 10th Annual Global Women’s Rights Awards in West Hollywood. Swift paid Cox a compliment after she accepted her award at the Billboard Music Awards.

“She was so sweet! When she got her award, she said, ‘Oh my gosh you look amazing!’ I was like, ‘Yes, thank you Taylor Swift!'”

“As we were walking back, she told me, ‘Everyone around me when you walked on stage said you look amazing!'”

Laverne’s conversation with Taylor didn’t end there. The singer invited Laverne to her after-party, but unfortunately, the actress wasn’t feeling well. She was clearly bummed out about not going to one of Taylor’s infamous parties.

“I had to leave early, even last night.”

That doesn’t mean Cox isn’t paying attention to Swift. She told E! News that’s she been taking notes on the singer’s success.

“She’s such a doll, I’m such a huge fan of hers. I love her music, but I love how she interacts with her fans. The relationship she has with them is just…I take notes from that!”

Zendaya and Laverne Cox aren’t the only ladies who have high praise for Taylor Swift. Mariska Hargitay said that starring in “Bad Blood” was an “awesome” opportunity and made her appear “cooler” to the kids, as previously noted by the Inquisitr. Mariska also called Taylor “an angel” and helpful when she and her husband needed it.
