Jason Hoppy Divorce Update: Bethenny Frankel Makes Bryn A Priority, Denies Having A Nanny

Jason Hoppy’s ongoing divorce from Bethenny Frankel has taken its toll on the Real Housewives of New York City star. Throughout the seventh season of the show, Frankel has let fans in on the emotional process of her divorce, and in her latest blog, she explained how it has changed how she parents.

“I’m going through a divorce, and my precious moments are divided,” she wrote, according to a May 20 report by Radar Online.

Jason Hoppy’s soon-to-be ex-wife went on to explain that while she’s made a ton of cash, both with the sale of her Skinngirl beverages and with her ongoing work with the brand’s other products, she hasn’t yet hired a nanny, and chooses to spend time with her daughter whenever she can.

“My balance as a mother and business person is knowing that I spend every moment possible with my daughter. The one thing that is said universally is that it goes by so quickly. I may have made some money, but I am not ‘nannied’ up, and I don’t go out with girlfriends when I can be with my child. ‘Child care’ doesn’t get me more time with my angel.”

Hoppy and Frankel were married for nearly three years before calling it quits in late 2012. Ever since, the former couple has been in a battle over the custody of their daughter, as well as the dividing of their marital assets.

Also in her blog, Frankel reflected on her meeting with her step-father, which, as the Inquisitr previously reported, played out on last night’s Real Housewives of New York City. On the show, as Radar Online recounted, Frankel faced off with John Parisella after decades of estrangement.

“It has been a long time coming, and as I wrote in A Place of Yes, I don’t wear my story. I, genuinely, am not angry. I think I have longed for a person to discuss the craziness of my past with. I’m an only child and essentially an orphan, so there is no one I can turn or talk to that can acknowledge what I remember to be true. I do think that people do their best; all I can do is pay it forward by being the best mother to my daughter that I can possibly be.”

Jason Hoppy is not featured on the currently airing season of The Real Housewives of New York City.
