Michelle Duggar And Jim Bob Want To Make It ’20 Kids And Counting’

Michelle Duggar has been called a lot of things during her time in the spotlight, but “barren” isn’t one of them.

The 19 Kids and Counting mom has delivered 19 healthy babies over the years, and a new report indicates that she and husband Jim Bob Duggar aren’t done yet.

In an interview with the 700 Club, the conservative Christian couple appeared together to primarily discuss the joys of being grandparents, but near the end of the interview, both Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar confirmed that they’re not only open to having a 20th child but are actively trying.

“We would love more children if God saw fit to bless us with more,” Michelle exclaimed. Jim Bob said they were trying but that they are also cognizant of the possibility that they won’t be able to have any.

Whether that’s good or bad depends on whom you are talking to. The couple and their extensive family have a huge following on Facebook, who admire their Christian teachings and influence and feel they’ve done a good job of raising responsible adults.

Meanwhile, some of those very beliefs that win fans create enemies. Michelle Duggar specifically has been singled out for supporting legislation in Arkansas that would ban transgender people from using restrooms of the gender they identify with instead of the one they were born with biologically.

A recent article reported by the Inquisitr and other media outlets also implies that Michelle and Jim Bob’s son Josh Duggar was involved in an underage sexual abuse case that involved “inappropriate touching” of a minor.

One important note on this particular story, though: they stem from two reports that InTouch magazine and the Daily Mail put out. Both publications are known as tabloids and have had a laundry list of lawsuits and retractions in the past for things like this.

They cite anonymous sources as well, and no investigation was ever launched into the Duggar’s son.

In other words, take that bit of info with a huge grain of salt.
