Could ‘DWTS’ Season 21 Include Rob Kardashian? ‘KUWTK’ Star In, Maksim Chermkosvkiy Out
DWTS season 21 is quickly becoming a hot topic with fans. As the Inquisitr previously reported, the series’ 20th season is coming to an end, and with that comes rumors regarding who will be seen on the upcoming installment. In the latest rumor, Rob Kardashian is said to be in talks.
On May 19, a source revealed the following to Radar Online in regard to Kardashian’s possible DWTS season 21 appearance.
“Rob’s been given an open invitation to visit the show and producers even dangled the prospect of serious hang time with Rumer Willis and Charlotte McKinney. Rob hasn’t ruled it out.”
Kardashian has already appeared on the show, alongside professional dancer Cheryl Burke, and when he was on, he was happy and in good shape. He even advanced further than his famous sister, Kim Kardashian, who was seen on the show as well.
In order to get Kardashian on board for DWTS season 21, producers will need to ante up at least $50,000 — in cash, claimed the source. While Kardashian jumped at his chance to appear the first time around, he is now in a much different place. In recent years, Kardashian has suffered with depression, which fans have seen on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
“Rob will only go on the show if he drops some weight first. He’s not a tall guy so when he puts on ten pounds it looks like twenty.”
“He’s back on his diet and has already lost several pounds.”
During an interview with Glamour Magazine on May 19, Maksim Chermkosvkiy discussed his future with Dancing With The Stars, assuring the publication he would not be returning for DWTS season 21.
“You have to walk away when the time is right, and the time was right. Nothing was out of ordinary. Like a plant that in order to improve growth, you have to pull branches. It’s the same thing. Every now and again, everything needs to be refreshed. Me, Cheryl Burke, Karina Smirnoff, the few of us leaving, I think this might be one of the last times we see Derek Hough.”
Chermkosvkiy went on to say that while Tony Dovolani is “still around,” he’s not sure he’ll be back for DWTS season 21. Either way, he added, he is supportive of the show, and hopes it will continue for years to come.
According to Hollywood Life, other DWTS season 21 potentials include Bruce Jenner, Demi Moore, Jalen Rose, Amber Rose, Amanda Bynes, Jamie Chung, and Steve Ballmer.
