Jessa Duggar And Ben Seewald Take Step Toward Adoption, Jinger Duggar Misses Her Sister [Video]

Jessa Duggar might be pregnant with her first child, but she wants 19 Kids and Counting fans to know that she and Ben Seewald are still determined to adopt.

People recently shared a sneak peek of the 19 Kids and Counting aftershow special that’s set to air tonight after the season finale. According to Jessa Duggar, she and her husband are actually attending classes to prepare for the adoption process.

“We’re still working that direction and planning on that,” Jessa tells host Erica Hill in the clip below. “We’ve actually been in contact with the local adoption agency, and we’re going to be going to a class next month for prospective adoptive parents.”

Ben and Jessa’s visit to that class definitely sounds like something that might be featured on one of next season’s 19 Kids and Counting episodes.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, most adoption agencies require parents to be married for at least two years before adopting, so fans shouldn’t expect Ben and Jessa to add to their brood anytime soon — Jessa might get pregnant with baby number two before the couple manages to complete the adoption process.

In the sneak peek, Jessa Duggar also reveals that she managed to keep her pregnancy a secret from her family for an entire month. She’s currently four months pregnant, so there’s no way she can hide her pregnancy now. The Duggar Family News: Life is not all pickles and hairspray Facebook page shared a few photos of Jessa showing off her bump at Ben Seewald’s 20th birthday bash. The event doubled as his community college graduation party, and the TLC camera crew was on hand to document it for a future episode of 19 Kids and Counting.

The party included a “photo booth” with props. As you can see, one of Jessa’s pregnancy cravings is cardboard doughnuts with sprinkles.

Jana, Joy Anna, and Jinger Duggar also got in on the fun with crowns, bows, and money bags.

Duggar Sisters

According to Us Weekly, 21-year-old Jinger Duggar has had a hard time adjusting to life in the Duggar household without older sister Jessa. During tonight’s 19 Kids and Counting aftershow, Jinger talks about missing her sister.

“It was super hard, just those moments right before Jessa got married realizing that our relationship was going to change,” Jinger says in another sneak peek. “That was a really tough time.”

You can see more of Jessa Duggar and her sisters revisiting their major milestones tonight starting at 8 p.m. ET. The 19 Kids and Counting finale will air first, followed by the aftershow special.
