‘WWE NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable’ WWE Network Results – Updated LIVE!

On Wednesday, May 20, 2015, the WWE will proudly present the next special from their phenomenal developmental brand, NXT. WWE NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable takes place in Orlando, Florida, inside the NXT Arena at Full Sail University. For those who are unable to attend, it will air live only on the WWE Network at 8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PST, and will be available to Plus members on Hulu the day after.

It might be a rare to see anyone who is not willing to watch any WWE NXT event, given the fact its fan base is extremely loyal. Yet for those who cannot watch it for any reason but still want to know what happens at the moment, the Inquisitr will provide up-to-date results on WWE NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable.

Despite the fact the NXT special is exclusive to the WWE Network, WWE is providing one courtesy with the WWE NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable Pre-Show. Along with those who do have a subscription to said WWE Network, it can also be viewed on WWE’s official website, the WWE app, Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, Pinterest, and Pheed for free. In it, a panel consisting of Corey Graves, Renee Young, and Byron Saxton will run down upcoming card and provide predictions for each match.

Prior to this, the Inquisitr reported on the latest news building up to WWE NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable. Such news may or may not be foreshadowing and omens for what the future for NXT (and WWE) may hold, but it is ultimately up to the WWE Universe to discern such.

Anyways, following is the official card for WWE NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable. As mentioned earlier, they will be updated with results as they become available. Also, this is the official card given by WWE. Any “surprise matches” are not listed (because they are a surprise). Also, if said surprise matches are “filler,” lasting only seconds for story-telling purposes, they will not be added.

Most importantly, for those who like kayfabe, the descriptions may not follow said kayfabe. Though some may be straightforward for what has been seen on previous NXT shows, there are insights given from news previously reported or knowledge of wrestling history that can be classified as predicted spoilers.

Bayley and Charlotte vs. Emma and Dana Brooke – For the past month, Emma antagonized Bayley, trying to bring out the fun-loving NXT diva’s dark side. As for Dana Brooke, she believes to be better than Charlotte, an NXT diva who is known to be “genetically superior” because her father is Ric Flair. Now, Bayley and Charlotte will team up and take on the team of Emma and Dana Brooke. This is a classic battle of integrity versus corruption.

  • RESULT: Bayley and Charlotte defeat Emma and Dana Brooke via pinfall after Charlotte hits Natural Selection on Emma.

Baron Corbin vs. Rhyno – Baron Corbin is recognized as an unstoppable force, halted only once by (Adrian) Neville. Rhyno is another unstoppable force who was only halted once by Sami Zayn. Now, the two unstoppable forces collide at a venue very fitting to hold their match. Who is truly unstoppable? To note, this may be the veteran pushing rookie match.

  • RESULT: Baron Corbin defeats Rhyno via pinfall after the End of Days.

Finn Bálor vs. Hideo Itami vs. Tyler Breeze – This is a triple threat match for the No. 1 contendership to the NXT championship. Pertaining to past news, it is possible this match will be going to Tyler Breeze given the fact that Finn Bálor may be moving to the main roster soon and that Hideo Itami may be out six to eight months due to injury.

  • NOTE: This became a singles match between Finn Bálor and Tyler Breeze due to Hideo Itami having a torn rotator cuff.
  • RESULT: Finn Balor defeats Tyler Breeze via pinfall after the Coup de Grace.

Blake and Murphy vs. Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady – This is a tag team match for the NXT Tag Team Championship. Out of all the matches provided tonight, this is probably the one with the most storytelling incorporated. Besides the fact that Amore and Cassady have been aiming for the tag titles for the longest time, Blake and Murphy have been constantly hitting on the female member of the “New York Italians” stable, Carmella. Yet, Carmella has been in a heated rivalry with Alexa Bliss. It is assumed that Bliss will become the female member in a stable with Blake and Murphy.

  • RESULT: Blake and Murphy defeat Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady via pinfall due to interference by Alexa Bliss.

Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch – Becky Lynch is in the “fight for her life” as she takes on Sasha Banks for the NXT Women’s Championship. The reason why is because back in 2013, Lynch signed on for a two-year developmental contract with NXT, and with her two-year anniversary coming up, it is unclear if she has resigned for another contract. Lynch winning the championship will surely be a sign that she will at least continue on in NXT. Also, if Lynch wins, it may possibly be a sign that Sasha Banks is about to be moved to the main roster.

  • RESULT: Sasha Banks defeats Becky Lynch via pinfall after a modifying the Bank Statement that also targeted the Becky’s left arm.

Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn – This is the NXT Championship main event of the night, and from what is reportedly known, it looks like Kevin Owens will win this one. First and foremost, Zayn is injured and needs to heal and recover. Second, Owens will be wrestling John Cena at WWE Elimination Chamber 2015 in about two weeks. Their promo they cut two days ago on WWE Monday Night RAW emphasized championships. It would be peculiar if Owens, the current NXT champion, were to go into WWE Elimination Chamber 2015 without a title against Cena, the current WWE United States champion.

  • RESULT: Match went to a No Contest due to Sami Zayn injuring his shoulder.
  • NOTE: Samoa Joe made his debut at this match.
