Pamela Anderson Reenacts ‘Psycho’ Shower Scene, Strips Nude For PETA Drought Campaign
In the spirit of the cinema classic, Pamela Anderson reenacts the shower scene from Psycho, all in the name of animal rights. And yes Pam, an outspoken PETA ambassador, posed nude for an ad campaign – again – according to a Us Magazine report.
The 47-year-old former Baywatch actress took part in a photo shoot for the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals to highlight the plight of the chronic drought situation in California. The organization believes the high demand in the meat trade attributes to the growing volume of waste water. The message from the reenactment of the shower scene from Psycho is clear, if you can get past gawking at Pamela in the buff.
“Meat and dairy farms drain half the country’s water. Making a splash for the environment doesn’t just mean shorter showers. Try vegan.”

The weekly spoke to Anderson about the state’s worrisome situation. She believes America’s insatiable appetite and consumption of meat has bred multiple problems beyond the rights of animals.
“Rivers are siphoned off, not just for the animals but also for crops grown to feed animals on factory farms. Producing one pound of beef uses as much water as about six months of showers.”
Recently, Pam filed for divorce from her husband, Rick Salomon. The pair wed in 2007, but pulled the plug months later. The annulment was a bit of a shocker. But then, in Anderson fashion, she upstaged that moment in her life by remarrying Rick six years later. However, lightning struck again and Pamela filed to end her marriage again in 2014.

And in another sudden turn of events, the former Playboy Playmate of the Month model stepped out with a new do. She’s known for her long and golden locks. But in March, photographers snapped pics of Pamela with a shorter hairstyle. Fans praised her for the “classy” new look, but many couldn’t resist wondering who the mystery man is seen with her departing West Hollywood’s Crossroads Restaurant. That’s another story altogether.
Perhaps, the new haircut is Pam turning a new leaf. Speaking of leaves, who can forget when she posed in a leaf bikini? In 2008, Anderson posed for the activist organization, and put her vegan way of life on display. Pamela posed in nothing but lettuce leaves that were strategically-placed on her lady parts.
There’s been many adaptations and reenactments of the Psycho shower scene from others in the past. Arguably, when Pamela Anderson puts her stamp on it by posing nude, the message she sends is loud and clear.
