Robert Kazinsky To Star As Frankenstein In Latest Fox Series — First Trailer And Pictures [Video]

Robert Kazinsky is known to True Blood fans as Ben Flynn AKA Maclyn Warlow and to gamers as Orgrim Doomhammer in Universal’s upcoming movie, Warcraft. However, his latest role is that of the man-made monster Frankenstein in Fox’s The Frankenstein Code. Robert Kazinsky will play the character of Jimmy Pritchard, a cop who is brought back to life to help save the life of one of his creators.

Access Hollywood explains Kazinsky’s character in The Frankenstein Code.

“Jimmy Pritchard [is] a morally corrupt retired cop given a second chance at life when he is brought back from the dead. Now younger and stronger, Pritchard will have to choose between his old temptations and his new sense of purpose.”

When Pritchard dies, he is 75 years-old, but will come back to life as the much younger Robert Kazinsky who, even though he is hideous and green as the orc Orgrim in Warcraft, will not look at all like the classic monster we normally associate with Frankenstein. According to Robert Kazinsky, the monster he plays will be a “modern twist” on the classic Mary Shelley version. Although, technically, in the books, Frankenstein refers to the doctor who created his reanimated monster. However, in modern culture, Frankenstein quite often refers to the creature and not the doctor who created it. Obviously, in Fox’s The Frankenstein Code, this is the aspect they are taking, as EW pointed out.

Now, some 15 unkind years later, he is killed when he stumbles upon a robbery at the home of FBI Agent DUVAL PRITCHARD (Tim DeKay, ‘White Collar’), one of his three children.
