Former Middle School Teacher Reveals How Sexual Relationship Started With Student On ‘Dr. Phil’ Show [Video]

Former middle school teacher Jennifer Caswell-Sexton — who is now facing rape charges — revealed on the Dr. Phil show how the sexual relationship with her student began, according to Daily Mail.

In August of 2014, Caswell, an English teacher, resigned just days prior to being arrested for having sex with her 15-year-old student.

Mississippi police had caught the former teacher in a room with her student at Best Western Hotel in Olive Branch and was immediately taken into custody, according to W-USA9.

While Caswell was in custody, the male student told police that the two of them did, in fact, have sex. However, the first time was in the classroom while she was his teacher.

“I was walking around the classroom straightening up the desks and he came and I guess it was standing up,” Caswell said to Dr. Phil as she recalls the day she and her student had sex.

“I kept on saying, ‘No you know we can’t do this. No, no, no.’

“He wasn’t forcing me, I mean, I couldn’t easily just walked out of my classroom, but I didn’t.

“But I was resisting because I knew it was wrong, but I didn’t.”

Caswell stated that after having sex with her student, she felt “terrified” and couldn’t believe she had “done something like that.”

She had only had her teaching certificate for six weeks before being arrested for child rape. Not only is she facing a slew of charges, such as second-degree rape, enticing a child, and a forcible sodomy charge, she will also have to remain on the sex offenders’ list for the rest of her life.

“It’s horrible because that’s for life. I’m gonna be a sex offender forever. And I’m not, I’m not — I’m not a predator.

“I’m not a sex offender. I’m not a threat or a danger to anyone. It’s here forever and I’m gonna pay for it forever… But I didn’t force anything. I’m not a rapist.”

Caswell admits on the Dr. Phil show that she took an interest in her student because “he was flirty” and “wasn’t used to the attention.”

Although she had been married to her now ex-husband for 10 years, she “felt very unwanted” by her husband.

“I was with him for ten years and I was never complimented. We never held hands or were physical.”

Jennifer Caswell will reveal how her sexual relationship started with her student on the Dr. Phil show, which airs May 19.
