Chris Brown Shows Up To Billboard Awards With His Daughter Royalty As His Date

It’s official. Chris Brown hands down had the cutest date at the Billboard Music awards. Brown, who recently learned that he had fathered a daughter, brought his mini me daughter Royalty as his date.

The two melted hearts as they strutted along the red carpet before the ceremony started. Brown’s 11-month-old daughter was dressed in a very stylish top, a tutu, and some nice Timberland kicks. To top it all off she had diamond earrings that matched her father’s.

From the photos it looks like Royalty was checking her surroundings out. Her father, Chris Brown, had a huge night, as he was nominated for three awards, including top R&B song for “Loyal” which featured French Montana, Lil Wayne, Tyga, and Too $hort, top R&B artist, and top R&B album for his latest album X.

This is a softer side to Chris Brown that the public hasn’t seen much of. We’ve had small indications that Brown is changing his public persona through the relationship he’s had with his daughter. Since learning that he was the father to Royalty five months ago, he has stepped up and been a constant figure in her life.

Although he’s busy now more than ever, Chris made sure that he made time for his daughter. Back in April he shared a photo of himself cuddled up with Royalty with the caption, “God has blessed me with my twin. #ROYALTY.”

Since then he’s been sharing photos and videos of his daughter on Instagram.

While Chris hasn’t made any statements about his daughter, he did slam fans who made remarks on his Instagram page about his baby drama. Back in March he wrote a large reply in response to the drama that surrounded Royalty and as a result his split from longtime girlfriend Karrueche Tran.

“Some of you ignorant human beings on there have yet to grasp the concept of your own lives. This is for encouragement for anyone dealing with their own issues. Half of yall pages are private and the others look so damn depressing I understand why u feel like u have the right to say some of the most outrageous thing possible. U don’t have to like me but one thing is for sure… You all are looking though.. That’s the [difference] between leadership and being a cancer to this planet. We have no real leaders or people to join together for great things anymore. At least not the youth… We will one day drown in a pool of our own negativity. Be blessed or be quiet.”
