‘Intermission I & II’ From Trey Songz On Spotify: Why ‘Intermission 1 & 2’ Just Started Trending On Twitter

Trey Songz is known as a ladies’ man, and Songz is cementing that reputation with Intermission I & II, his next surprise for fans after having dropped the Intermission mixtape on his followers about one month ago. Now, Songz has returned to making surprise announcements with the brand new EP called Intermission I & II on Spotify.

Songz previously made news when his name came up in the Earl Hayes shooting tragedy, as reported by the Inquisitr, which notes Hayes’ FaceTime call with Floyd Mayweather, Jr., at the time of Hayes’ wife’s tragic death.

Intermission I & II can also be found on iTunes, with a whole list of 12 “explicit” warning words in red running down the list of 12 songs. On Intermission I & II, fans will find songs titled “Intermission,” “Don’t Play,” “Boss,” “Do It Now,” “Talk About It,” “Change,” “How Could You Forget,” “#Fwyb,” “Company,” “Flick,” “Chill,” and “Hard Times.”

The explicit songs can also be heard on YouTube, on Songz’ official channel. Those songs are currently gaining steam and going viral, including the audio of songs like “#Fwyb,” a ditty that tries to encourage people to get with Trey, because he’s going to be richer. Also, Songz sings that other women will be jealous of the one he chooses to be with him.

Pusha T assists on “How Could You Forget,” and Trey recently described his thoughts concerning his own music.

“How can you be Trey Songz when you sing a man can’t be a man without a woman and nobody listens? But then you sing ‘NaNa’ and everybody pay attention. But it don’t really mean nothing. Everybody pay attention and they scrutinize and then they wanna know where’s the love?”

According to Stashed, Trey made that statement in a documentary recently released.

The Intermission II hashtag just started trending on Twitter, and as such, fans are rushing to the Spotify link to give Songz’s new offering a listen. In fact, the Intermission I & II album on Spotify is getting so much attention that fans are likely to see error messages and timeout warnings until the song loads.

The Twitter account posted information about Intermission I & II approximately three hours ago, at 8 a.m. ET or so on Monday, May 18, pointing to the Spotify link and more information about the album. It was a surprise release that has caused such a big reaction online that it seems Spotify can’t handle the traffic.
