An employee at the Dunkin’ Donuts said the rapper Chinx looked lifeless in the driver’s seat after he was killed in the drive-by shooting. It was apparent that at least seven bullet holes had pierced the vehicle, through the front and rear windows.

“The police came and they opened up the door,” said Bibekanada Das, who was working in the kitchen when the shooting occurred. “All you could see was the guy laid out in the seat.”

The rapper Chinx’s silver Porsche continued to roll on the road, even after he was killed in the drive-by shooting. Two victims were in the vehicle, and emergency responders tried to save them by rushing them to Jamaica Hospital. Unfortunately, Lionel Pickens died, but 27-year-old Antar Alziadi was listed as being in critical but stable condition.

According to the New York Times, Alziadi is suffering from two bullet wounds to the back and a punctured lung. But Pickens received the worst of it.

“The police said Mr. Pickens appeared to have 15 bullet wounds, mostly in his lower body, though some may have been exit wounds. Two 9-millimeter shell casings were found in the street and one inside the Porsche, on Mr. Pickens’s seat, the police said.”

The last performance of the rapper Chinx Drugz was at the Club Red Wolf in Brooklyn, NYC. Luis Lopez, manager of the club, said nothing seemed wrong with Chinx when he left the establishment.

“He was very good,” said Lopez. “He was here with four or five guys. Then he left. He didn’t fight with anyone. I got the news by the (club) promoter. To be in my establishment and then … It’s crazy, man. It’s really crazy. I was shocked to hear the news.”
