Taylor Swift Livestream Canceled At Last Minute, Fans Furious

Taylor Swift’s livestream at Rock in Rio in Vegas was cancelled at the last minute, and fans were furious after expecting to be able to see Taylor’s performance.

TMZ reports that Taylor Swift performed in Las Vegas along with Ed Sheeran, John Legend, and Bruno Mars, and Yahoo! Music promoted the fact that it would livestream the entire concert, including Swift’s set. However, just moments before Taylor was supposed to go on, she changed her mind and pulled the plug on the stream.

Swift fans stayed up late to loyally watch their icon sing, but when she decided not to broadcast her set, people got very upset. Taylor has gone to great lengths in the past to protect her music, including taking her music off Spotify, but her fans called her out by saying that if she didn’t want to do the livestream, then she shouldn’t have agreed to it in the first place.

However, Taylor Swift’s livestream drama quickly faded away on Sunday when she finally released her highly anticipated music video for the song “Bad Blood” at the Billboard Music Awards. Time reports that the star-studded video featured all of Taylor’s closest female friends, including Selena Gomez, Ellie Goulding, Mariska Hargitay, Ellen Pompeo, Cara Delevingne, Jessica Alba, Zendaya Coleman, Lena Dunham, Karlie Kloss, and so many more. The video was action packed, and the song is rumored to be about Taylor’s feud with fellow singer Katy Perry, who has allegedly slammed Swift and done other things to cause some “bad blood” between the two pop artists.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Taylor arrived with her posse of girl friends at the awards show, and the group was tight knit and ready to premiere the video together. Swift also arrived with her boyfriend, DJ Calvin Harris, and when she won her first award of the night for her album, 1989, she hugged all of her besties, and gave Calvin a big kiss and hug on camera.

It looks like Taylor and Calvin are growing super close, and maybe the hunky DJ is the one for the singer! Fans are totally loving them together, and since Taylor has a long list of famous ex-boyfriends such as John Mayer, Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, Harry Styles, Connor Kennedy, and more, she’s used to the publicity and criticism that comes from being in a high profile relationship.

Hopefully, Calvin can handle the pressure and not take it too personally if Swift writes a hit song about him in the future.
