Noah Galloway Doesn’t Need ‘DWTS’ Mirror Ball: He Already Won An Awesome Prize
Noah Galloway shouldn’t be too crushed if he doesn’t waltz away with the golden mirror ball trophy during Tuesday night’s result episode of Dancing with the Stars — his new-found fame has already helped him score the prize that he really wants.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Noah Galloway proposed to his girlfriend on live TV last week. However, his controversial engagement isn’t the prize that he’s currently over-the-moon about. According to People, Harley Davidson is gifting the double-amputee Army vet with the motorcycle of his dreams.
Noah previously told People that he wanted a bike to go with his Kenneth Cole leather jacket, and Harley Davidson decided to make his dream come true by customizing a motorcycle just for him. Noah shared the happy news on his Instagram page.
“Yesterday got a call from @harleydavidson. They felt bad that I wasn’t able to get a motorcycle because I bought my beautiful fiancé a ring instead. Harley Davidson offered to give me, and modify, my own bike. Today they dropped by to show me a few. What an incredible gift from such a great company.”
In order to ride the bike, Noah will have to learn to use a prosthetic arm. Dancing with the Stars fans will remember that he got very irritated with pro partner Sharna Burgess earlier this season when she tried to get him to wear a prosthetic arm for their Argentine tango. According to AOL.com, he even cursed at Sharna while they were rehearsing with the arm.
During an interview with Good Morning America, Noah Galloway said that he simply needed “more time with the arm.” He hasn’t used it on the show since the GMA interview, but maybe he’ll be more willing to work with it if his reward is the opportunity to ride a Harley. He probably didn’t have to pay for the prosthetic arm, so he should definitely try to make use of the pricey, customized freebie that many other amputees would likely love to own.
“If I’m going to drive a motorcycle, I gotta have an arm,” Noah Galloway told People. “So I see myself wearing an arm in the future. Jamie (Galloway’s fiancée) is okay, kind of, but she’d rather I didn’t. But I’ve gotten two leather jackets from Kenneth Cole, and I feel they can’t go to waste without a motorcycle. So blame Kenneth Cole.”
On Monday night’s episode of DWTS, Noah Galloway and Sharna Burgess will be performing the same Argentine tango that he ditched the arm for. Perhaps he’ll decide to give it one more chance before the show is over.
According to AL.com, Noah will also be performing a freestyle routine this Monday. It’s meant to be a “symbol of his life’s journey,” and Just Jared reports that he and Sharna will be joined by Mark Ballas, Jenna Johnson, Lindsay Arnold, and Paul Kirkland.
