Giant UFO Fragment Found In Serbia

A large chunk of a UFO has been discovered near a remote village in Serbia. Well, at least that’s what some people believe.

Local residents discovered a large chunk of metal about the size of a Volkswagen Beetle. They believe that the metal piece fell from the sky but officials at the Russian space agency said that the object “is not related to space technology.”

Discovery reports that UFO fragment is about 400 pounds. It is cylindrical and has a cap on one end. The object was dragged to the village by locals but was confiscated by the Russian Space Agency shortly after. The RSA said that experts would be called in to examine the object before an official statement was made.

Nick Johnson, head of NASA’s orbital debris office, said

“The object almost certainly is not related to a spacecraft… It also does not look like part of a launch vehicle which has fallen from orbit. However, we cannot be definitive in our judgment without better photos and other data. For example, the date the object fell is vitally important, but I did not see reference to it.”

The Telegraph reports that part of the object is made of extremely strong titanium. Officials said that the object is not radioactive.
