On May 15, Rapper “Killer” Mike Rendell told Bill Maher on Real Time With Bill Maher how he feels about Bill O’Reilly after O’Reilly recently expressed his belief that hip-hop was responsible for the collapse of Christianity in America.

According to Salon, Bill O’Reilly raised some eyebrows after claiming “the rap industry” was a part of the “pernicious entertainment” which “glorifies depraved behavior” and marginalizes people of faith. O’Reilly paralleled the fall of the Roman empire with what he claims is happening in America today; for instance, the idea of “what is good for me is good, period — the overall good be damned!” is a prevailing thought among youth who are unaffiliated with religion today.

Bill O’Reilly also stated, “When a nation turns inwards, towards the pursuit of individual gratification, the country is in trouble.”

Rapper Killer Mike told Bill Maher what he thought of O’Reilly after Maher asked him for his thoughts on the opinionated man.

“I like Bill O’Reilly the character. I hate that old white people take him so seriously. He’s more full of sh*t than an outhouse! I’m gonna go in a black club and see Bill O’Reilly with a stripper on his lap, I guarantee you that. He’s as fictional as those books he writes.”

Bill Maher wasn’t so quick to agree with Killer Mike. “I know Bill — that is not an act. He may be full of s**t, but he’s full of sincere s**t. People really think that way!”
