Kristen Doute On ‘Vanderpump Rules’: ‘We Managed Not To Kill Each Other So…’
Kristen Doute may have been fired from SUR Lounge during season 3, but judging by her recent NBC Upfront appearance, she is going to play a major role on Vanderpump Rules season 4.
During the event, which showcased Bravo’s upcoming projects, Kristen Doute hit the red carpet with her co-stars, including Lisa Vanderpump, Jax Taylor, Scheana Marie Shay, Tom Sandoval, and Katie Maloney, seemingly confirming they would all be a part of the full-time cast.
Noticeably absent from the event were Ariana Madix, the girlfriend of Sandoval, and Tom Schwartz, the boyfriend of Maloney. Because Schwartz doesn’t work at SUR Lounge, and has only starred in a guest role during previous seasons, his absence wasn’t too shocking. Madix’s, however, was unexpected. Not only is she working at SUR Lounge and dating a full-time cast member, she was featured in an official role last season — and was in New York City at the time of the NBC Upfront.
On May 15, along with the Vanderpump Rules season 4 cast photo, Kristen Doute shared the following message,
“We managed not to kill each other so season 4 is still a possibility. #PumpRules #NBCUpfronts.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Kristen Doute has been saying for months that she wants to return to the show, despite being kicked out of SUR Lounge at the end of filming of season 3. During an interview with E! News, Kristen Doute said she was hopeful the network would renew her contract.
“I would. At this point, we’re three years in and everything that I’ve been through, I put my life on the line for everyone to see. I’d want to continue the journey. I don’t want to throw everything away just because I don’t work at SUR. If there’s a fourth season, I hope they’ll ask me back.”
Kristen Doute also spoke of a possible return during an interview with Jezebel, and also spoke of her regrets from seasons prior.
“This season I actually don’t mind it because my Botox was so on point. The first two seasons I was such an ugly crier, but now I am not that bad about it.”
“For a season 4 I have prepared myself…if I am asked back personally, I’ve already said, ‘I want to do it.'”
No word yet on when Kristen Doute and the rest of the cast will return to Bravo for Vanderpump Rules season 4.
