Katy Perry Crashes Bachelorette Party

In a series of odd and unrelated events, Katy Perry crashed a bachelorette party while partying in London at the hot spot Mahiki.

Katy Perry had approached Lauren Cooney, 25, who just so happened to be celebrating her bachelorette party with a bunch of friends. The ex-wife of comedian and rocker Russell Brand had a few words of advice for the bride-to-be about the joys of marriage. What was the advice? “Don’t do it! Don’t get married!” At least that’s what Cooney’s telling UK’s popular tabloid, The Daily Mirror.

Cooney returned the words of advice with, “I thought you’d say that.” Taken aback, Perry then scrambled up a reply with, “No, really… congratulations.”

Like a pro, Katy Perry then posed for photo-ops and chatted with the bride to be for a bit before departing. Cooney said of the meeting, “Katy was really, really sweet. She wished me luck.”

Until recently, Katy’s split from Russell Brand, 36, has seen the outspoken Perry keeping a low profile in the media, but it seems as though she can’t catch a break.

Recent reports are circulating that during a separate partying occasion, Perry handed her phone number out to a stranger, and to her surprise, it was passed out to a line of men.

A source said, “Katy got calls from some real creeps, and realized that guys she gave her number to were passing it on to other guys. She told me, ‘I might as well have written it on a bathroom wall!'”
