Jennifer Lopez & Casper Smart Back Together? Performer Hints About Hiring Ex For Las Vegas Residency
Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart could be back together. Just days after it was announced that American Idol was canceled and that Jennifer was getting her own Las Vegas residency, rumors continue to swirl about her relationship with choreographer Casper “Beau” Smart.
Lopez, 45, tried to keep her cool when asked about her on-again, off-again boyfriend on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The hilarious talk show host asked the show-stopping performer about her current relationship status. There’s been speculation by fans that Lopez and Smart, 28, are back together — and even living together!
DeGeneres said, “The last time you were here you told me you were single.”
Lopez exclaimed, “I didn’t!”
DeGeneres insisted, “No, you did.”
Lopez explained, “No, I didn’t. I don’t even want to get into it with you!”
DeGeneres didn’t stop there though. She playfully pressed on to see if Lopez would admit about dating Smart once again.
“First of all, I don’t lie. I say what my truth is. Whatever anybody else wants to perceive about me hanging out with people or other people or different people, it doesn’t matter. I know the truth.”
The host asked, “So the truth is now [that] you’re not single?”
Lopez laughed and responded, “I’m kind of not, but I kind of am.”
Sounds like Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart could be hooking up still. The AI host told E! News’ Marc Malkin on Thursday evening that she’s thinking of “employing” him as her choreographer for her Las Vegas residency.
“He might be involved. There are a lot of people we’re talking to. It’s a big show. It won’t be one person. It will probably be a collaboration.”
Jennifer and Casper have been spotted getting cozy together in public. It’s caused rumors and reports to claim that the couple is now back together. It also doesn’t help the rumors when Jennifer shares photos of her alleged boyfriend on Instagram.
A new report is even claiming that J.Lo and her “beau” may get married soon. Lopez was seen wearing an engagement ring at the 2015 Met Gala, causing reports to say that she could have a summer wedding.
The entertainer just announced her Las Vegas residency earlier this week. Jennifer is set to perform at the AXIS Theater at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. The dates for Jennifer’s performances will begin on January 20, 2016, as previously reported via the Inquisitr.
Sales for her Las Vegas residency will go on sale on Saturday, May 16. Ticket prices range from $59 to $219. Jennifer Lopez already has live shows scheduled for January, February, May, and June. There’s no word on whether or not she will extend the dates for her residency.
