‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Live Shows Bring Nerves, A Shooting, A Wedding, And More

General Hospital is airing lives shows on Friday and Monday, and fans can’t wait to check them out. The shows are part of the ongoing 52nd-anniversary celebration the show is doing, and expectations are high for these two special episodes. What General Hospital spoilers are available for the May 15 show?

TVLine chatted with Michelle Stafford, who plays Nina Clay, about what lies ahead. The cast will be doing the episodes twice on each day to accommodate the different air times across the country, though it seems the West Coast will see a taped live broadcast.

There will be some compelling scenes between Nina and Franco, played by Roger Howarth, it seems. Stafford admits she can’t say much about what lies ahead in Friday and Monday’s episodes. However, there is said to be a wedding ahead.

Who is getting married? There’s speculation that it could be Lucas and Brad, but Stafford teases General Hospital spoilers that neither the wedding nor the couple is what and who viewers would likely expect. There are many other theories floating around about who the couple involved may be, and viewers can’t wait to see how it comes together. In addition, it seems that Nina will have interaction with someone random that provides an unexpected turn for viewers.

She Knows Soaps teases General Hospital spoilers that someone will be shot in Friday’s show. As for Nina and Franco, it seems that she has an announcement for him. Apparently, the shooting and the wedding are related, in true GH form. Celeb Dirty Laundry reveals that Ava will awaken, and she’s not going to be happy with Silas.

GH spoilers detail that Jake will be trying to break away from Sloane and his undercover assignment while Carly will try to protect Jake from Sonny. While there are a lot of unknowns surrounding the couple preparing to wed and the intended shooting victim, General Hospital spoilers indicate that Jake will save the day in some way. Jake may end up taking a bullet for his heroic actions, though.

As Zap2It notes, some GH cast members are excited about the live broadcast project while others are feeling anxious. Rebecca Herbst admits she’s pretty anxious, although she knows it’s a great challenge to embrace. Those who have done some theater work seem a bit more ready to tackle these live shows, but they also know that things could certainly go a bit awry.

Will there be any mistakes or missteps during the two live shows airing on Friday and Monday? Will Jake’s identity as Jason finally be revealed to Port Charles? Who will try to get married and who will be shot? Tune into General Hospital on May 15 and 18 to see just how the cast does with the live broadcast challenge.
