Love Facebook? Now you can get a Masters Degree in Social Networking

Birmingham City University in the United Kingdom has launched a Masters in Social Networking.
The Masters Degree doesn’t come cheap at £4,400 (US$6,327) (well, maybe compared to the United States) but it allows you to be a Masters of Facebook, according to the Daily Mail.
The degree is being pitched at PR professionals. Course convener Jon Hickman: “It’s not for freaks or IT geeks. The tools learned on this course will be accessible to many people. It will definitely appeal to students looking to go into professions including journalism and PR.”
One student though wasn’t as enthusiastic, saying that “virtually all of the content of this course is so basic it can be self-taught….In fact most people know all this stuff already. I think it’s a complete waste of university resources.”
