Kendall Jenner Posts Bikini Picture With Hailey Baldwin, Then Changes Into Something More Controversial
Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin can rock a bikini, but what happened after the pair shared their viral poolside photo ended up getting much more attention.
Jenner posted a picture on social media showing herself and friend Hailey hanging out in a pool on an inflatable swan. Kendall wore a blue and white bikini while she laid across Hailey, who wore a white swimsuit.
The fun and games wouldn’t last too long though, as Kendall changed out of the bikini and into something more controversial. She was seen later that same day wearing a shirt with a Confederate flag image on it, which drew a strong backlash online.
The crop top was designed by the band Lynyrd Skynyrd, which explained that the flag wasn’t meant as a symbol of slavery or racism but rather a tribute to the south (via The Spreadit).
“We know what the Dixie flag represents and its heritage; the Civil War was fought over States rights. We still utilize the Confederate (Rebel) flag on stage every night in our shows, we are and always will be a Southern American Rock band, first and foremost.”
The picture drew quite the reaction online, with many slamming Kendall Jenner for her seemingly ignorant fashion decision.

While Kendall Jenner’s sense of history may be in question, her patriotism is not. The young model was photographed last Fourth of July wearing a festive red, white, and blue bikini.
Hollywood Life shared a picture of the Jenner sister in a bikini with the following description.
“Kendall certainly suited up in a festive fashion when she selected her itty bitty American Flag bikini. The 17-year-old model is clearly comfortable flaunting her endless legs in the suit — after all, she does it so frequently in front of the camera! While she may love to model, she also has such a down-to-earth, sporty side — and that’s exactly what she showed off on the Fourth of July, when she braved the waves on a boogie board. Kendall’s string bikini top featured stars and stripes and was outlined in white, while her black bottoms offered up a very cheeky view.”
After the controversy over her Confederate flag shirt, Kendall Jenner may want to stick to bikini pictures with her pal Hailey Baldwin.
