Bethenny Frankel Too Skinny? ‘Real Housewives’ Star Talks Weight With Dr. Oz Amid Divorce And Tell-All Book

Bethenny Frankel is tackling everything from charges that she’s too skinny and possibly even anorexic to dealing with her divorce and her daughter by appearing on Dr. Mehmet Oz’s talk show. While the Real Housewives Of New York City star is trying to stay focused on her entrepreneurial life, she also is well aware of the criticism that she’s received about her weight and constant eating disorder rumors, she admitted to Dr. Oz.

In addition, Bethenny is touting a tell-all book that she’s authored called I Suck at Relationships So You Don’t Have To, which is on the New York Times‘ bestseller list.

But when it comes to her weight, Frankel insists that she is healthy, not too skinny. And like Giuliana Rancic, who also recently appeared on the Dr. Oz Show to discuss the skinny-shaming that she also experienced, Bethenny is angry at being criticized over her weight.

The reality TV star’s life has become a balancing life. She has her commitments to the Real Housewives Of New York City, her daughter, her SkinnyGirl business, and now her divorce. And the latter is increasingly messy and expensive, according to Radar Online.

It’s been two years since she filed to divorce Jason Hoppy. Now, Bethenny has been told that she has until June 1 to give Hoppy $100,000 in attorney fees. And that’s not all.

In addition, Bethenny will pay on a temporary basis $11,858.42 monthly plus child support for their 5-year-old daughter Bryn. There’s also the money she must shell out for the little girl’s preschool, doctor appointments, and related costs of bringing up a child in New York City.

Moreover, Frankel is responsible for paying the carrying charges on the home in which Jason lives. Although he’s in it alone, they co-own the residence.

Can Bethenny afford all those costs? As the Inquisitr reported, she’s earning money from those SkinnyGirl products, the Real Housewives Of New York City show, and her tell-all book.

The memoir also gets real about what Bethenny contends she’s learned from her relationship with Jason Hoppy, from whom she is getting divorced.

“I’m owning it,” declared the 44-year-old owner of Skinny Girl products.

“I’ve learned more from my mistakes than I have my successes in everything. I was broke not so long ago. In my business, I always wanted to be successful, and I made a lot of mistakes and I really had no idea if it would ever happen for me. It’s the same with relationships. I can still give advice on something that I’ve made a lot of mistakes in. It’s about ‘do as I say, not as I’ve done.'”

As for charges that she’s too skinny? Bethenny answered those by offering to step on a scale on the Today show, reported MSN.

“Sometimes I do agree that I look too thin, especially when I’m tired, especially when I’m haggard. I do eat. There are nutritionists that comment that I don’t even weigh 100 lbs. I weigh 115 lbs. I’ll be happy to get on the Today show scale,” she declared.
