Is ‘The Situation’ the Latest Rehab Patient? Rep. Says No

Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino has reportedly entered rehab, though his publicist denies the rumor. According to a representative for the Jersey Shore star, he, “has spent the past several weeks at an undisclosed location for much needed rest and recuperation after his extensive production and appearance schedule.”

Mike, like the rest of his Jersey Shore co-stars, has spent the last two years visiting nightclubs for money, with appearances garnering the star anywhere from $15 to 50k each.

This speculation comes right after MTV announced that Jersey Shore will be filming a 6th season with it’s original cast, although the series may be much tamer with Snooki pregnant and ‘The Situation’ in rehab.

A tweet posted on Tuesday night by Mike reads, “Don’t believe everything you hear.”

If the reports are true, ‘The Situation’ would not be the only star currently in rehab. TV reality star Tila Tequila has spent some quality time at the facility, after reportedly attempting suicide. Tila checked in after suffering a near-fatal brain aneurysm from overdosing on pills February 29th.

Even ‘300’ film star Gerard Butler is not immune to rehab, as the Scottish actor recently checked in for substance abuse at the Betty Ford Center in California. Butler’s problems apparently began after the physical demands of filming ‘300’ in 2006, and later when he was injured on the set of his new movie ‘Men and Mavericks.’

Do you think Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino is in rehab, like fellow stars Tequila and Butler, or is he merely spending some quality R&R at an “undisclosed location?”
