Witness Claims Natalee Holloway Was Killed In Front Of Him

What happened to Natalee Holloway? It’s been a decade since the missing Alabama teen vanished while on an Aruba class trip. Now a witness has come forward after all this time with some startling claims. KFOR News 4 reports that Jurrien de Jong allegedly witnessed the death of the missing Alabama student, and he may know where her body was hidden by the man long-accused of killing her.

Calling himself the eyewitness, de Jong claims that he watched Joran van der Sloot violently assault the high schooler. He claims that he watched him chase Natalee into a construction area, according to Pix 11 News.

“In about five minutes, he came out with Natalee in his arms and slammed the body of Natalee on the floor… and then he made an opening in a crawl space… I knew she was dead.”

Jurrien de Jong says that he never came forward before because he was involved in illegal activities of his own, and did not want to attract unnecessary attention to himself. Natalee’s father has traveled back to Aruba to investigate and look for new clues associated with the new information that is coming to light. Right now it’s not entirely certain if this so called eyewitness is reliable or not.

Natalee Holloway vanished on May 30, 2005, while vacationing with her high school classmates. The teens had all traveled from Alabama to Aruba to enjoy the exotic environment in an otherwise presumably safe tourist town. Over the course of the past decade the only true suspect in her disappearance has been Joran van der Sloot, who has never been convicted of any involvement with her case. However, he is currently incarcerated in Peru after being convicted of killing another young woman. Van der Sloot has been mentioned in media reports multiple times over the years — mostly regarding the overly privileged life he lives behind bars.

Natalee Holloway isn’t the only woman to go missing while vacationing in Aruba. Back in 2011 a woman by the name of Robyn Gardner vanished while vacationing with friend Gary Giordano. Giordano has been the only person of interest in her disappearance. Similarly to Van der Sloot, Aruban authorities lacked evidence to keep him behind bars, and that is why Giordano is currently free in the United States. Robyn Gardner remains missing to this day. It was widely reported back in the early days of her disappearance, that Gary Giordano had an obsession of sorts with Natalee Holloway.
