Taylor Swift’s ‘Bad Blood’ Promo Annoying? Swifties Tired Of Hearing About New Music Video
The promo for Taylor Swift’s new music video “Bad Blood” is already heating up, but it’s also annoying fans. The singer has been actively promoting her new music video by sharing a poster every day on Instagram.
Swift is arranging a team of “superheroes” to help her out in the new music video. She unveiled some recognizable names like Zendaya, Ellie Goulding, Gigi Hadid, Hailee Steinfeld, Hayley Williams, Lena Dunham, and now Kendrick Lamar. Swift just unveiled another poster on Monday morning that featured the rapper.

Kendrick Lamar and Taylor Swift have been supportive of each other’s work. Taylor shared a video of herself lip-syncing along to the rapper’s songs. He returned his support by lip-syncing along to Taylor Swift’s hit song, “Shake It Off.” The rapper is also rumored to write a few verses for the reported “Bad Blood” remix.
What else is there to know about Taylor Swift’s new music video?
The singer shared a fun fact about the celebs that will make an appearance. Swift told her fans that each one has an alter ego they chose themselves. For example, Swift named herself “Catastrophe,” with a heavy emphasis on the word “Cat.”

Taylor has been unveiling the posters since May 7, although the music video won’t debut until the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday, May 17. Swifties are already tired about the non-stop promotion. Some of Taylor’s fans have taken to Twitter and other forms of social media to air their frustrations.

The #BadBloodMusicVideo better be like six hours long so it’s able to fit my expectations bc this is getting to be TOO MUCH @taylorswift13

Some fans even want Swift to stop promoting the “Bad Blood” music video. They feel that she should just unveil all of the posters a day or two before the Billboard Music Awards. Swift’s music video is expected to include up to 17 of her closest friends in the industry. It’s also been reported that the song is about Katy Perry, which leaves a bad taste in some fan’s mouths.

But that won’t stop Taylor Swift from promoting her new music video. Some fans wonder if she’s hyping up this video so she can snag the “Video Of The Year” award at the MTV Music Awards later this summer. It’s any wonder if Taylor will also give her “surprise” face when she wins.
No one has ever drummed up this much hype and interest for a music video since Britney Spears released 30-second teasers from her hit single, “Hold It Against Me,” from her seventh studio album, Femme Fatale. The highly-anticipated music video left Britney fans underwhelmed since it included too much product placement and too little dancing. Hopefully, that won’t be the case with Swift’s new music video.
What are your thoughts on all the promo for Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” music video? Do you think it’s too much already?
