Meghan King Edmonds Confirmed As Official Season 10 ‘RHOC’ Housewife, Premiere Date Revealed

Meghan King Edmonds is officially a housewife. In a May 11 report by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Meghan King Edmonds’ role on the show was confirmed — and not just that. The 10th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County has also received a premiere date of June 8.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Meghan King Edmonds was rumored to be one of two new, full-time housewives several months ago when filming first began. According to a Radar Online report at the time, Meghan King Edmonds and Katie Hamilton were both starring on the show as official wives.

“The two new housewives are Meghan King Edmonds, who is married to baseball player Jim Edmonds, and Katie Chadwick Hamilton, wife of baseball player Josh Hamilton. So far, the ladies seem to be great additions to the cast, and are definitely fitting in with the majority of the women.”

Although Meghan King Edmonds’ role on the show has since been confirmed, her alleged co-star, Hamilton, reportedly left the show mid-season, and won’t be included in the official Season 10 cast. In early March, about two months prior to the end of production, Hamilton and her now-estranged husband, Josh, allegedly stopped filming. In March, Rumorfix reported the news.

While Hamilton never officially announced her departure from The Real Housewives of Orange County, she and Josh were said to have left the show after his reported relapse. In the months after, Josh filed for divorce.

News of Meghan King Edmonds’ co-star’s divorce hit the web in April, but according to The Dallas Morning News, Josh reportedly filed months prior. In the divorce documents, Josh listed several requests — 34 to be exact.

“Prohibit her from using the Maserati and 1972 Chevrolet Blazer in his possession; prohibit her from ‘hiding’ the children from him; prohibit her from making disparaging remarks against him or his family; prohibit someone who has an intimate relationship with her from staying in the same home as the children overnight.”

The Dallas Morning News also reported that, at the time, Josh was unable to see his four children without supervision and was not allowed to visit any of his marital properties with Hamilton, including their homes in Westlake, Texas; Newport Coast, California; and Valley Mills, Texas.

Their Newport home is currently on the market for $16.5 million.

Meghan King Edmonds makes her reality debut on June 8 in the 10th season premiere of The Real Housewives of Orange County on Bravo at 8 p.m.
