Kailyn Lowry’s Domestic Violence Past Is Back To Haunt Her

Kailyn Lowry was seen in one of her weakest moments on an early season of Teen Mom 2. During the show, while fighting with her now-husband, Javi Marroquin, the reality star and mother of two took a swing at her partner. Although the couple is now in a much better place, a fan on Twitter recently reminded Kailyn Lowry of the dark time.

According to a Mstarz report on May 10, Kailyn Lowry engaged in a Twitter feud with the woman shortly after the message was posted.

“You RT about DV; did you forget that you are also a perpetrator?” asked Jen Williamson. “Male/spousal DV victims speak out as well.”

After Kailyn Lowry responded to the message with two laughing emojis, Williamson continued, “I’m glad that’s so hilarious. You and Jenelle are two of a kind- both make a joke out of DV.”

“Did I try to hit him? Yeah. But luckily I didn’t. It was a low for me. I never beat him,” Kailyn Lowry continued, then accusing Williamson of online bullying.

“I guess bullying online is acceptable as long as it’s talking about other people’s pasts… Javi wouldn’t be with me anymore if I was the same person I was 3 years ago.”

Kailyn Lowry began dating Marroquin years ago, and after the couple moved in together, they often butted heads. During the incident in question, Kailyn Lowry was seen lunging toward Marroquin in an attempt to hit him in the face. Afterwards, a regretful Lowry apologized, agreeing to get help for her issues with anger. From there, the couple went on to tie the knot and welcome a child together, Lincoln Marroquin, one year later (Lincoln was born in November 2013).

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Kailyn Lowry and her husband were accused of having a rocky relationship months ago. According to a Radar Online report at the time, Lowry was pursuing other men, as she spoke of the struggles of marriage.

“Kail has been texting guys wanting to catch up and hang out— without Javi. It’s very odd behavior for a married woman. She doesn’t even talk about him. There’s obviously trouble in paradise.”

In response to the rumor, Kailyn Lowry’s husband shared a message on Instagram.

“We’ve had our ups and downs. We’ve laughed and we’ve cried, but at the end of the day neither of us give up. Thank you for never giving up. You’ll forever be my best friend but wake up! Had so much fun last night.”

Kailyn Lowry returns to Teen Mom 2 for Season 6 on July 9 at 10 p.m. on MTV. Also included in Season 6 are Jenelle Evans, Leah Messer-Calvert, and Chelsea Houska.
