Is Leah Messer In Rehab? ‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Re-Tweets Message About Being ‘In The Mood’
Leah Messer is rumored to be in rehab, but according to her Twitter account, the Teen Mom 2 star appears to have already left. On May 10, Ecumenical News noted several reports, which cited Leah Messer’s drug addiction and stint in rehab.
According to the site, Leah Messer’s rehab of choice was located in West Virginia, where she is based. However, the reality star has never mentioned any drug problem online, and on her Twitter page, according to the site, she’s focused on being fit.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Leah Messer has reportedly be struggling with an addiction to prescription medication for a number of months. On Teen Mom 2, the mother of three was seen acting out of it after taking medication to help her anxiety. During an episode of the fifth season, Messer even admitted to feeling “druggy,” and was seen slurring her words while on the phone with her daughter Ali’s doctor.
In a report by In Touch Weekly, via Radar Online, it was noted that Leah Messer would be in treatment for 30 days, and was hoping her three daughters would visit her.
In addition to Leah Messer’s rehab rumors, the reality star has also reportedly split from her husband of three years, Jeremy Calvert. Weeks ago, while serving as a bridesmaid at her sister Victoria’s wedding, Leah Messer was seen without her wedding ring, and husband Jeremy has also been seen without his.
Over the weekend, Messer shared a re-tweet with her many fans, discussing how her sign, Taurus, got in the mood.
“#Taurus female is devoted to creature comforts. Texture is important. A velvet pillow, silk sheets or a foamy bath gets her in the mood.”
Despite the rumors, Leah Messer’s mom, Dawn Spears, recently proclaimed on Facebook that her daughter did not have a drug problem.
“TRUE FANS listen up. Leah is NOT going to rehab lol. This is Momma Dawn and I 100% ASSURE you that Leah is NOT going to a DRUG REHAB. Lots of LOVE to the true fans. all will come out on the upcoming show about Leah Dawn Calvert, Jeremy, Corey,Miranda, and the babies. But rest assure I HATE drugs don’t want association with them and wouldn’t NEVER Condone them.”
Teen Mom 2 season six premieres on MTV on July 9 at 10 p.m. In addition to Leah Messer and her family, fans will be reunited with Jenelle Evans, Kailyn Lowry and Chelsea Houska.
