50 Cent: Jeweler Claims Rapper’s Crew Brutalized Him And Stole His Bling

A jeweler told TMZ exclusively that he was “brutalized” by the rapper’s crew and had his bling stolen.

According to the website, a criminal investigation is underway after a Los Angeles jeweler claims he was pistol whipped by 50 Cent’s crew before they stole a quarter of a million dollars worth of jewelry.

Robert Marin, who owns LAX Jewelry Co., told TMZ he went to Los Vegas during fight weekend because he wanted to sell a watch and chain worth $250K to 50 Cent.

According to Marin, he met 50 Cent at Drai’s nightclub to show him the pieces and purchase price negotiations ensued.

However, negotiations turned sour at some point. TMZ said this about the alleged robbery.

“They stayed at Drai’s until the wee hours Saturday and 50’s crew invited him to see Floyd Mayweather’s gym… an offer he couldn’t refuse. Marin claimed when they arrived things turned ugly. He says 2 of 50’s guys pistol whipped him, stole the jewelry and fled.”

Marin said he has filed a robbery claim against 50 Cent and his crew, and an investigation is underway by the Los Vegas Police Department.

An attorney for 50 Cent, Scott Lemon, categorically denies the jeweler’s claims.

“On behalf of 50, I can adamantly deny that he or his security had anything to do with these baseless and false allegations.”

It seems unlikely that 50 Cent would need to revert to theft as is becoming one of the richest rappers out there.

The rapper’s net worth is $155 million, according to Forbes magazine.

Diverse investments, including those in music, clothing, beverages, and technology, has led to 50 Cent’s incredible wealth.

One of 50 Cent’s best investment’s is apparently in VitaminWater.

Forbes states the following about 50 Cent’s rise to richness.

“Though he’s of the most successful rappers of the past decade, 50 Cent owes most of his fortune not to music but to his $100 million haul from the sale of VitaminWater in 2007.”

Becoming a boxing promoter is among 50 Cent’s latest business pursuits. ESPN reported that he is “having fun” working in the boxing world, however his relationship with Floyd Mayweather has taken a turn for the worse. 50 Cent spoke about their soured relationship.

“[Floyd Mayweather] had a case where you create a business and you have someone who is a partner making verbal agreements and saying they will support by putting half of the money in. If they decide they are just not going to do it, it results in a lawsuit. I just can’t figure out how to sue my brother for money. You understand what I’m saying?”

Do you think the accusation by the Los Angeles jeweler against 50 Cent and his crew is legit?
