Kris Jenner Denies That She’s Greedy And A Control Freak, Wants Bruce Jenner To Be Happy With Transition Journey

Kris Jenner is feeling defensive about charges that she and the Kardashians are exploiting Bruce Jenner’s transition for profit. Instead, the famous “momager” says that her only goal is for Bruce to be happy and denies that she’s greedy, reported MSN.

To those who feel that the family is famous only for being famous, Kris points to their success in enterprises ranging from fashion to beauty. She also denies that they originally became famous because of Kim’s sex tape.

“That was a smaller seed than people seemed to think,” insisted Kris.

Instead, she credits Keeping Up with the Kardashians for jump-starting their fame, as well as her experience as a manager helping Bruce Jenner become a motivational speaker.

“It was a mix of blood, sweat and tears, enthusiasm, determination and just never sleeping and getting the word out there,” said Kris.

But she is adamant about two common claims. First, Kris says that she and her daughters are not greedy, and second, she insists that she isn’t trying to control her family members.

“It doesn’t mean that we’re always looking for more or that we’re greedy. There’s a lot of people that have great ideas and dreams and whatnot, but unless you’re willing to work really, really hard, and work for what you want, it’s never going to happen. And that’s what’s so great about the girls. It’s all about their work ethic. I guess if I get a little weird about something that isn’t the way I want it, and I complain, then it’s called controlling.”

As for her desire to shape her children’s futures, Kris feels that is part of her personality.

“I like everything a certain way. I’m not somebody who can just lay back and let it happen. That’s never going to happen for me. And I think that’s what’s gotten me to where I am in life, at the same time. I can’t turn it on and off.”

With Bruce Jenner increasingly in the public spotlight after his interview with Diane Sawyer about his transition from male to female, Kris emphasizes that she isn’t trying to control him, reported People.

“At the end of the day, I just want him to be happy,” she declared. “He’s going to find his happiness, and he’s going to have his journey.”

However, as the Inquisitr reported, Keeping Up with the Kardashians also has shown Kris in tears.

“I have these memories of this life and I feel sometimes like it didn’t exist,” said Kris of her memories of life with Bruce before they split up.
