New York Mobster Admits To Eating Heart And Kidney Of Rival, Hid Cocaine Trafficking Ring Inside Queen’s Pizzeria

A nefarious mobster in New York has been the subject of a 10-month surveillance operation for his suspected involvement in the Ndrangheta crime syndicate and dealings with cocaine trafficking. Gregorio Gigliotti hid his involvement in Italy’s most brutal crime syndicate inside the Cucino, his Italian restaurant and pizzeria. The Cucino was not only the base of operations, but also a main distribution point for cocaine and other drugs. Gigliotti posed as the believed owner of the small restaurant, but his violent reputation led to revelations about a savage life filled with murder, smuggling, and even cannibalism.

Gregorio Gigliotti was not only the owner of Cucino, but also the broker between New York’s crime families, the Ndrangheta, and the South American drug cartels, according to the Daily Mail. His dealing with the crime families and drug cartels led him to commit violent and savage crimes to hold his place and gain respect from everyone that trusted him in the position. He set an example with anyone that crossed him, making sure the same mistakes did not happen again. However, Gigliotti was not only vengeful, he seemed to enjoy the pain and torture he brought upon his rivals.

Wiretapped conversations between Gigliotti and his wife gave police enough information to justify his arrest and put him in prison for a very long time. In one conversation, he threatened to murder two members of the Ndrangheta crime family, a pair of brothers, because he believed they crossed him.

“But listen, they need to disappear.. and it will be both of them together..one brother will fall the ground.and the other will not understand what is happening.. and then we will see, they will be dissolved in acid… I will show them.. they have no shame, they will have nothing.”

In another conversation, Gigliotti spoke of eating the heart and kidney of a rival, bragging about the meal to his wife, Eleanora Lucia, all because the individual mislaid $20,000.

“You still don’t know me, even you? Do you remember one time I told you that at the same table I ate a soffritto…I ate a kidney and a piece of heart.”

Gigliotti was arrested and his restaurant was raided. Officers found $100,000, cocaine, marijuana, six pistols, and a rifle in the Cucino. Cocaine residue was found inside boxes of fruit. According to CNN, Gigliotti will face a mandatory 15 years in prison if he is convicted. His current accusations include trafficking and operating a trafficking ring. It is unknown if murder and cannibalism will be added to the charges.
