Teresa Giudice Celebrates Birthday Behind Bars?

Teresa Giudice will celebrate her birthday on May 18, and according to a May 8 report by Real Mr. Housewife, fans are doing their best to make it a good one.

Although the Real Housewives of New Jersey star is currently behind bars at the Federal Correctional Facility in Danbury, Connecticut, fans hope Teresa Giudice will be able to receive gifts sent to her by fans. Unfortunately, it is unclear whether or not the jail will allow it.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Teresa Giudice’s attorney, James J. Leonard, recently confirmed Teresa Giudice was expected to return to The Real Housewives of New Jersey once she is released from custody. In an interview with PEOPLE Magazine, Leonard said that while the show’s cast has yet to be revealed, he can’t see Bravo moving forward without their unofficial star.

“Anyone who has watched that show since the very first episode understands that Teresa Giudice is the central figure around which the show revolves. That’s not to take anything away from any of the other women, but Teresa has been the focal point for the last six seasons, and I don’t expect that to change moving forward, assuming both sides can agree on a contract.”

Teresa Giudice’s attorney also addressed rumors regarding the possible end to her marriage to Joe, who is due to turn himself in to prison at the end of her term. Prior to Leonard’s comments, sources claimed Teresa Giudice had met with a lawyer while behind bars to discuss her and Joe’s alleged divorce.

“I can state unequivocally that I am the only lawyer that Teresa has met with since she has been in prison. While we have discussed many things, we have never discussed her divorcing Joe. If anything, as bizarre as it may seem, this experience of them being apart has only brought them closer.”

Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe have been married for 15 years, and despite their current situation, appear to be dedicated to one another. While Teresa Giudice is behind bars, Joe has been caring for the couple’s four daughters, making sure they are getting to school and their activities during the week, and taking them to see their mother on weekends.

Following Teresa Giudice’s 15-month term, Joe will begin a 41-month prison term.

Teresa Giudice will be released later this year, just in time to spend the Christmas holiday with her four daughters.
