Pregnant Snooki Joins Castmates For Season 6 of Jersey Shore
MTV News confirmed that Jersey Shore’s getting one more season with the original cast, and that includes pregnant Snooki.
No further details have been released by the network about the season 6 hi-jinks but one things for certain, Snooki, Pauly D, Vinny, The Situation, J Woww, Deena, Sammi and Ronnie are all back for more GTL (gym, tan, laundry for those not in the know). However, we are privy to the start of the taping, which resumes in the summer, for a beach themed season.
An MTV rep teased out the typical energy of the new season stating, “while things will definitely be a little different this time when they hit the boardwalk, their trademark hilarity and family dysfunction will remain the same.”
Currently the cast are dabbling in their own endeavors for MTV. As previously reported, JWoww and Snooki are currently filming their own show for MTV, which was supposed to feature a similar tone as their Jersey Shore show, but that’s up in the air given Snooki’s pregnancy. Pauly D is focusing on his career as a DJ and MTV is giving him a huge promotional tool by documenting it in the TV series, The Pauly D Project, which is said to premiere on March 29th.
In an exclusive interview with MTV, Pauly D seemed amped up for the season, stating, “Absolutely! I’m there! I love summers on the Jersey Shore. I love it as a show, and I love it with my roommates. I wouldn’t do it without [them], I gotta do it with them. I want all of them [there] and I want the Jersey Shore.”
