Ty Burrell Welcomes Daughter

According to the Modern Family actor’s rep, Ty Burrell, 44, and wife Holly have officially adopted a girl.

The newest addition to the Burrell family joins older sister Frances, 2, also adopted. The Emmy award winner has so far kept mum about the details surrounding the latest adoption, including his daughter’s name.

When speaking of elder daughter Frances’ arrival, Ty admitted that it was a whole new dynamic raising a child within a marriage, stating, “there’s lots of problem solving in any marriage, but when you have this collective goal that is a human being, it’s an inspiring rally point.”

Earlier last week Ty Burrell sat on the panel with the rest of his cast mates at PaleyFest in promotion for the ensemble comedy Modern Family, which is now in its third season. It was there that he revealed the similar worries he has in common with his character Phil Dunphy. “I am just in complete denial that she’ll ever be over 13. She’s so cute. She’s getting cuter every moment. I’m in a very blissful period with her.”

In addition to fatherhood Burrell has also started to make a name for himself on the big screen with exciting new film roles. Right now his latest film, a crime genre named Switch, which he co-stars along with the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Dennis Quaid, and John Hawkes, is in pre-production. Next on the chopping block is an animated adventure Mr. Peabody and Sherman in which sees Burrell deal with a broken time machine, that causes the change of history.
