Phaedra Parks Hints That Cynthia Bailey’s Apologies Are Meaningless

Phaedra Parks has been dealing with quite a bit this year, and she has managed to keep the peace in her home. Parks learned that her husband had been running a fake and illegal business, and he was sentenced to eight years behind bars. As a repeat offender, Apollo Nida doesn’t have many chances of getting released early or on parole. After learning of this devastating news, Parks decided to focus on her children and her growing career.

But since Phaedra Parks is on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, she does have to deal with petty drama from the other women. Even though Phaedra was going through quite a bit this year, the other ladies heard the rumor that she was cheating on Apollo with a man named Mr. Chocolate.

According to a new Bravo report, Phaedra Parks is now revealing that she will forgive some of the ladies for their comments, but she isn’t eager to move on with Cynthia Bailey. Parks doesn’t think that Cynthia’s apology is actually genuine. She will say one thing one minute, and then completely change her tune the next.

“There’s apologizing and then there is ‘apologizing.’ In one breath Cynthia is telling me she is sorry, and in the next she is lobbing insulting remarks at me. If someone is truly sorry for what they have done or said, it is reflected in their actions,” Phaedra Parks reveals about Bailey, adding, “Saying the words ‘I am sorry’ does not mean much if the disrespectful and nasty behavior continues. As a mother, wife, and purported professional, I think Cynthia should have been more responsible and thoughtful from the beginning.”

Parks has been reevaluating her friendships since her husband went to jail. NeNe Leakes has been a great support system for her, and Porsha Williams has been her shoulder to cry on. But Phaedra’s friends, including Kandi Burruss, have not really been there to help her through these emotional times. Cynthia has been very aggressive in her accusations that Parks was cheating on her husband.

But Phaedra may not want negativity in her life. According to the Inquisitr, Parks has revealed that she has resolved her issues with Kandi Burruss and forgiven her for not being there for her. However, Bailey may not get any forgiveness anytime soon. Parks has moved on, and Bailey may be doing the same thing these days.
