Heidi Klum Sings Karaoke Sans Smokey Robinson At UNICEF Playlist

Heidi Klum was expecting to sing alongside Smokey Robinson during UNICEF Playlist, a celebrity karaoke benefit, but the legendary singer didn’t show. The supermodel’s performance wasn’t hindered, however, as she was joined by several celebrities for a rendition of “YMCA.”

Klum said:

“Smokey stood me up. He was supposed to sing ‘My Girl’ with me. Will anybody else sing with me?”

Before anyone had the chance to jump on stage, Host Tom Bergeron suggested a group sing-a-long. Bergeron said:

“How about instead everyone in the room helps you out with ‘YMCA?'”

Kind of a boring, cliche choice, right? But I guess it’s a little entertaining when Heidi Klum’s singing, Tom Hanks is wearing a cowboy hat, Rita Wilson, Wayne Brady, Jon Huertas and Seamus Dever are dancing, and Pau Gasol is taking care of the backup vocals.

According to Web Pro News, Klum and the other celebrities raised more than $400,000 for a new school in Africa during the UNICEF Playlist event.

Here are some of the photos that Klum tweeted from the event.
