‘The Walking Dead’ Spoilers: What You Need To Know Before Season 6

The Walking Dead Season 6 may not return until October, but spoilers for the new season are already running wild. Fans are dying to know what will happen, who will die, and which comic book characters may be popping up when the AMC series returns later this year.

According to What Culture, while fans are looking forward to watching The Walking Dead spin-off, Fear The Walking Dead, when it debuts on AMC this summer, the real wait is for the original to come back in the fall, and after the Season 5 finale, everyone is buzzing about what might happen.

When fans last saw Rick and the gang, there was some serious drama going on. Pete had accidentally killed Deanna’s husband, which caused Deanna, the leader in the Alexandria community, to order Rick to kill Pete, the man who had been beating his wife Jessie. All of this was going on while Daryl was bringing Morgan back to Alexandria. Morgan, who has a new outlook on life believes that humans shouldn’t not be killing other human beings.

iDigital Times reports that Morgan’s new attitude will drastically change the dynamic in Rick’s group, which could cause some serious problems within the band of survivors who have become family to one another.

The Walking Dead Season 6 premiere date is rumored to be October 11, 2015, and it’s said to be the biggest season of the series yet, and the walkers will become the bigger problem yet again, as Scott Gimple revealed after the finale.

“For a good while now, humans have been the bigger threat. At the start of our next season, that will change.”

In fact, there could even be a zombie army in the works, which would be something very new and different for the show, director Greg Nicotero revealed.

“You have people that are basically utilising the people that they kill as ammunition to build a zombie army…they are setting booby traps everywhere so they can take people’s possessions and then use them to build the walkers in the traps. So it’s kind of a diabolical plan.”

Meanwhile, the “wolves” are coming, and they’re a group of extremely bad people. Think Terminus on steroids. Norman Reedus revealed just how crazy the “wolves” could be.

“I don’t think they’re afraid to butcher people in front of people. They seem different than Terminus; Terminus was more cowardly. They would trick you into coming to Disneyland and then eat you.”

Thankfully, the group will have the walls of Alexandria for now. The community will remain the gang’s home at least for a while, so get used to seeing them in those fancy houses, and with some new neighbors, as it’s reported that at least two new characters will be apart of the cast in Season 6. Hopefully, none of our beloved characters die. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, rumors are flying that Daryl’s character could bite the dust this season.
