ISIS In America: Militant Group Promises Attacks, Warns Of ’71 Trained Soldiers In 15 States’

ISIS is warning of imminent attacks on the United States, with the militant group claiming it has “71 trained soldiers in 15” states ready to attack America within days.

The group’s warning comes after two gunmen opened fire at an event in Texas where cartoons depicting the Prophet Mohammed were featured. The group took responsibility for the attack, which left a security guard wounded before both gunmen were killed.

While authorities are still trying to determine whether the shooters — Elton Simpson and Nadir Soofi — were actually connected to ISIS, the militant group is ramping up the threats against America.

On Tuesday, the group declared war on right-wing blogger Pamela Geller, who helped plan to Prophet Mohammed cartoon event. In a message broadcast this week, the group even named states where attacks would take place — Virginia, Maryland, Illinois, Michigan, and California.

“The attack by the Islamic State in America is only the beginning of our efforts to establish [a governance] in the heart of our enemy,” the message read.

The group said a statement.

“We have 71 trained soldiers in 15 different states ready at our word to attack any target we desire. Out of the 71 trained soldiers 23 have signed up for missions like Sunday, We are increasing in number bithnillah. Of the 15 states, 5 we will name… Virginia, Maryland, Illinois, California, and Michigan. The disbelievers who shot our brothers think that you killed someone untrained, nay, they gave you their bodies in plain view because we were watching.”

“The next six months will be interesting, To our Amir Al Mu’mineen make dua for us and continue your reign, May Allah enoble your face.”

In the past, several months there have been rumors that ISIS has been trying to infiltrate the United States, including reports that the group was planning to cross the border with Mexico. A conservative blog called Judicial Watch reported that ISIS had made camp just a few miles from Texas and had plans to attack.

“During the course of a joint operation last week, Mexican Army and federal law enforcement officials discovered documents in Arabic and Urdu, as well as ‘plans’ of Fort Bliss – the sprawling military installation that houses the US Army’s 1st Armored Division. Muslim prayer rugs were recovered with the documents during the operation.”

But a State Department spokesman later debunked the rumors saying, “The United States and Mexico work together on counterterrorism and border security to protect the citizens of both of our countries from the threat of terrorism and violent extremism.”

Authorities have not said if the latest ISIS threat to America is legitimate.
