Stabbed: Pizza Delivery Guy Gets Robbed, Stabbed, But Still Delivers Pizza

A stabbed pizza delivery guy was still able to deliver a pizza that was ordered by a hospital in Louisville, Kentucky, despite being seriously injured. According to the Huffington Post, Josh Lewis, 25, was delivering pizzas to the Norton Hospital emergency room on Sunday afternoon. As he pulled up to the hospital, someone jumped him.

He was robbed, stabbed, and carjacked. Left bleeding without a car, Lewis somehow managed to carry the pizzas inside the hospital’s emergency room before collapsing to the ground.

“I can’t believe he just walked in there, said ‘Hi, I’m from Spinelli’s. I have a pizza delivery,’ and then just collapsed. That’s dedication,” said regional manager of Spinelli’s, Willow Rouben. “He’s just a sweetheart. He’s a sweet kid and we’re just so sad that this happened to him,” Rouben added.

It definitely sounds like Lewis was in shock, and that adrenaline could have carried him through the door of the hospital with the pizzas.

The stabbed pizza delivery guy was listed in stable condition on Monday. He suffered a collapsed lung, but he is expected to be okay. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Lewis underwent surgery at the U of L Hospital where he is currently recovering.

It is unclear why Lewis was attacked, or if he was targeted in some way, but it does sound like this was a random act of violence.

According to Fox News, Louisville Metro police are still looking for a suspect, and have asked for the public’s help. The suspect is described as a 40-something-year-old black man. He was last seen leaving the hospital after stabbing Lewis, driving away in a black Jeep Cherokee with gold racing stripes (the vehicle that Lewis had been driving when he arrived at the hospital). The license plate on the Jeep is from Michigan (where Lewis is originally from), and reads CDY6122.

At the time of this report, police still had not located the stolen vehicle.
