Man Gets Into Mayweather-Pacquiao Fight VIP Area By Following Leonardo DiCaprio But Doesn’t Stop There

A 24-year-old man from the UK, Steve Carruthers, got to watch the “fight of the century” ringside after sneaking his way into the VIP area by simply following a disguised Leonardo DiCaprio while pretending to be a part of the celebrity’s entourage. The bold Carruthers then mingled with celebrities such as Paris Hilton, Donald Trump, Christian Bale, and Michael Keaton. However, the man didn’t stop there. In fact, he then made his way to the journalist area outside of Mayweather and Pacquiao’s dressing rooms, but things didn’t go as smoothly there. Security confronted the man, but luck was on Carruthers side that day and Mayweather himself stepped in to defend him while taking him under his victorious wing.

While the VIP area of the Mayweather and Pacquiao fight was reserved for the rich and famous, one man from the UK boldly went in and enjoyed the show with A-listers by his side. The bold man, Steve Carruthers, apparently made it to the exclusive ringside seating by simply following Leonardo DiCaprio into the arena while pretending to be part of his entourage. The Daily Mail reports that Carruthers has a series of photos to prove he was in the exclusive area for the entirety of the fight and posed with a number of celebrities throughout the event.

After mingling with the celebrities and watching Mayweather defeat Pacquiao in an area so close to the action that was reserved for the rich and famous, Carruthers decided to try his luck at meeting Mayweather and Pacquiao face-to-face in an area reserved for journalists. Again, Carruthers made it past security by following closely to a group of journalists with credential badges. However, once he made it to the area behind the dressing rooms, it was a little harder to conceal the fact he was out of place. After meeting Pacquiao he moved on to speak with Mayweather. As he asked Mayweather for an autograph, security realized something was wrong and proceeded to confront Carruthers about his security credentials. However, instead of being tossed from the venue, Mayweather told the security, “I’ve got him,” and proceeded to invite the shocked Carruthers to his press conference.

Carruthers commemorated his daring feat with a series of selfies with celebrities and even some video of the action behind-the-scenes. What do you think of the daring man’s adventure to obtaining front-row, VIP seats to one of the most star-studded sporting events of the year?
