WWE News: Rumor-Killer On Vince McMahon Going Blind, WWE Statement Inside

Since WrestleMania 31, the WWE product has consistently gotten better over time. Younger stars are getting their chance, WWE NXT superstars are debuting on the WWE main roster, and Vince McMahon finally let John Cena take care of the mid-card with the United States championship. Unfortunately, amidst the good things in the WWE right now, rumors still start that takes it down a peg.

In a report by What Culture, they said Vince McMahon is going blind. According to the fan report What Culture saw, McMahon was unable to see Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31. A fan in Montreal during last night’s WWE Raw is speculating after the telecast.

Before anybody jumps to conclusions and takes this report as the truth, I spoke to a WWE official about this story and he said that the report is false. Vince McMahon is not going blind, in fact, he’s in great shape right now and he’s doing well.

McMahon also wear glasses when he isn’t on television. He’s been seen in public with them on, so even at his age, his eyesight is not going anywhere. 12-year olds cannot see without their glasses sometimes.

McMahon has made headlines in the last few days, especially with the Hulk Hogan situation. In an earlier report, McMahon gave Hulk Hogan the “OK” to compete in a match at WrestleMania against a future opponent. Hogan has said in the past that he wants to wrestle Ric Flair, but with both men’s health the way it is, that will be a long shot.

“Whether it’s for my last hurrah and it’s my retirement match, whether it’s for my next run or whether it’s to just beat whoever’s got the WWE title and become the champion again. If you guys are in that stadium next year, I’m going to be there.’ And Vince McMahon shook my hand and said, ‘I look forward to it.'”

WrestleMania 32 is going to be legendary, but not just because Hulk Hogan may be wrestling. Finn Balor has already gone on record and said that if he isn’t at WrestleMania 32, it’s because he is dead. Of course, Balor won’t be dead, but that’s his way of guaranteeing the WWE Universe that he will be participating.

More rumors about a triple threat match between the Shield for the WWE World Heavyweight championship are already starting. A match between Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose would absolutely steal the show at WWE WrestleMania 32. For now, Vince McMahon is putting the pieces together for the immaculate show while having great eyesight along with him.
