Hayley King’s Roommates Caught ‘Bullied’ USC Student Poisoning, Spitting In Food [Video]

Hayley King’s roommates caught the University of South Carolina student on video when she allegedly tried to poison their food. A hidden camera allegedly showed her spitting and pouring household cleaner and Windex in her roommates’ food, and now the college student is facing felony charges. But is it possible King was being bullied by her roommates?

In a related report by the Inquisitr, Hayley King’s roommates say the shocking incident has changed their life and now they cannot focus on finishing college.

“The aftermath… caused me to fall behind in my classes,” one of King’s roommates said. “I was forced to switch out of one of my courses because I was so distracted with everything going on. This not only affected me physically, having to deal with the repercussions of the incident, but also mentally from the anxiety that came along with it.”

To make matters worse, one of the roommates actually ate from one of the poisoned food containers, although apparently they survived the ordeal without any long term side effects. When the roommates showed the video to police, King was called into an interview with police where she confessed to poisoning the food.

According to court records, the USC student was released a day after her arrest on a $5,000 bail. King was charged with unlawful, malicious tampering with human drug product, which is punishable by up to 20 years in prison since the crime is a Class C felony in South Carolina.

But there may be more to the story. Hayley King’s roommates only installed the home security camera to record video after they reported multiple altercations. One of King’s friends said a text message the day Hayley was moving out of the shared house, and it indicates that the roommates may have been bullying the USC student prior to the poisoning incident.

“While Hayley is moving out don’t [expletive] with her. Y’all have been [expletive] taunting her since the semester started,” the text message said according to the Daily Mail. “If she tells me you’re [expletive] with her I will personally come and check you. You too old to try to be bullying some damn body. Grow the [expletive] up.”

According to Hayley King’s roommates, they had been fighting for several weeks and they had tried to get her to move out from their shared house in the past. King has not come forward to explain her side of the story, so it is uncertain what went on in that household during that time frame.
