After Beyoncé revealed a slimmer version of herself at the Met gala in a sheer gown, more interest in the singer’s weight loss, diet plan, and workout regimen has been displayed. As a result, People reports that it’s likely a venture into vegan-land that’s helped the superstar slim down. According to Marco Borges, Beyoncé’s trainer and the guy who encouraged Jay Z and his wife to give his theory about trying a plant-based diet for 22 days a whirl, the superstar eased into his plan slowly by starting off with plant-based breakfasts, which eventually led to plant-based lunches, and the whole enchilada.

Author of the best-selling book titled The 22-Day Revolution: The Plant-Based Program That Will Transform Your Body, Reset Your Habits, and Change Your Life, Borges’ website features inspirational quotes from the “Drunk in Love” singer, and his Instagram page includes lots of beautiful photos of food with simple recipes to help people get started on his eating plan.

Beyoncé and Jay Z’s skin began to glow after beginning Marco’s 22-day plan, says the trainer. However, the best benefit from adapting to his eating plan is dropping pounds, says Borges, as Beyoncé showed off in her sheer gown.

“The number one benefit is weight loss, and a really close second is energy. Jennifer Lopez and [Beyoncé] and Jay have all done the 22-Day Revolution program and across the board it’s been, ‘My energy is through the roof.'”

In the foreword of the book, Beyoncé writes about growing up in Houston and not always making the best choices with a diet that consisted of fried chicken, BBQ ribs, po-boy sandwiches, and other fare.

“After having my daughter, I made a conscious effort to regain control of my health and my body. But I didn’t want to do a crash diet.”

Beyoncé went on to write about how it took time for her and Jay Z to jump aboard the plant-based diet train because she thought it sounded crazy — something she could never do because she loved food too much. Eventually, she tried it though, and wrote that it helped her get in the best shape of her life. Her exercise routine has been revealed in Instagram videos.

“I had lost my pregnancy weight with his help, through an exercise-and-nutrition program, and was ready for another challenge.”

As reported by the Inquisitr, along with Beyoncé’s weight loss making the news, so has Kourtney Kardashian’s Instagram photo, which revealed her weight loss after giving birth to her child, bringing her down to 116 pounds.
