‘Once Upon A Time’ Season 4 Finale Spoilers: Sacrifices, Love, And More Teased
Fans will see a twist on the Once Upon A Time Season 4 finale on Sunday night, and there are new spoilers for the big two-hour finale now out. The cast and crew are having fun teasing fans with bits of information about the finale episode.
The first preview for the finale released after Sunday’s episode revealed that fans will see characters in a new way. They will switch sides. The Evil Queen will be more Snow White like, and Snow White will put on her evil shoes. This switch is shown even more clearly in the first Once Upon A Time finale sneak peek shared by Entertainment Tonight Online.
The clip shows an evil Snow White capturing Regina and threatening her life. However, the clip ends just before the final blow is struck. Snow and Charming have just won Emma over again, and fans may see some sort of resolution for them in the finale.
The Season 4 finale of Once Upon A Time is promising to bring some resolution to several story lines that played a prominent role in the action all season long. Fans will see Rumple and Belle in a new light, and fans will see where this couple stands by the end of the finale. Fans will also learn more about why Gold has acted the way he has this season.
The other couple that will see some resolution will be Robin Hood and Regina. This couple has been through a lot this season. Regina learned that Zelena was tricking Robin all along, and now Regina plans to lock her away for good. Edward Kitsis teased that fans will receive “clarification on just what their situation is by the end of this year.”
Emma and Hook have been in a good place for most of the season. Hook has dealt with some issues, but Emma has stuck by his side through it all. Kitsis revealed that the finale will test the pair, but fans will learn an “emotional truth” about them before the finale ends.
Emma will make a sacrifice by the end of the finale. A previous Inquisitr report shared details from the filming of the finale, and Emma appears to risk her life for Regina and Robin. According to Christian Today, Edward Kitsis teased a bit about that sacrifice in a recent interview.
“In the final episode, she is dealing with the journey of being a hero, trying to get other people to believe, and then she’s going to be faced with making a very big sacrifice.”
Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz did tease that fans will see a lot of kissing during the finale, but they played it coy when asked if one of those kisses may be “true love’s kiss.” Fans will need to tune in to find that out for themselves.
As for the end of the season finale and the set up for Once Upon A Time Season 5, Patrick Fischler offered a teaser in an interview with Buddy TV.
“It’s roller coaster of a ride. It definitely ends on a note that is going to open a new door for the show. [But I] don’t want to give away too much. Enjoy next week. It’s a fun one. I think the audience is going to have a really good time. It’s a great opportunity for all the actors on the show to play the opposite. There’s a bunch of surprises too.”
The Author, who is played by Fischler, has been at the center of a lot of the action in recent episodes. What will he do in the finale?
