Allison Williams Makeup Selfie Channels Kim Kardashian As ‘Girls’ Actress Defends Dad Brian Williams [Video]

Allison Williams proved that makeup makes a difference for the Girls actress. The daughter of Brian Williams took a selfie showing herself with half her makeup on, and half of it off, reported the Huffington Post.

Photographed while she was working on Girls for HBO, the selfie revealed that the real Alison looks extremely different from uber-glam Marnie, the character whom she portrays.

“Took half my makeup off. Guess why Marnie might have this insane look? #90sLips #Season5,” wrote Williams for her caption.

In addition, Allison offered a Dubsmash that displayed her lip-syncing skills when it comes to Nicki Minaj. However, she made sure to be fully made up for that post.

So, what was Allison’s goal in those social media shares? She just might be hinting that Marnie is set to undergo a transformation to a Kim Kardashian clone, reported Refinery 29.

In analyzing the made-up half of her selfie, that cheekbone resembles Kim Kardashian. Add in the arched eyebrow, extra-long-long eyelashes, and carefully lined lips (half-way done), Allison appeared to be channeling her inner Kim.

Recently, Allison took wing in playing the boy who never grew up in Peter Pan Live, as the Inquisitr reported.

The NBC special also starred Christopher Walken as a tap-dancing, foppish Captain Hook, and more than nine million people viewed the initial live broadcast.

But while she’s playful in her acting, Allison admits that the situation with her father Brian Williams has been challenging, reported People.

Reflecting on the fact that her father was suspended for six months from his highly coveted position as NBC Nightly News anchor, the Peter Pan Live actress said that they are feeling grateful for their blessings.

“This has been a really hard time. But we’ve also been feeling really lucky, counting our blessings. We have our health, we have each other. It’s been incredible to experience the outreach from people you love, family, friends, and then people we don’t even know, strangers, just reaching out saying we want him back on TV.”

As for Allison’s own views? She emphasized that she cherishes her father.

“My dad has always been there for us 100 percent of the time, even sometimes before we knew we needed him. And so this, to be here for him, is the least we can do,” declared the actress.

In addition, despite the charges that he embellished news reports, Allison feels that he has integrity and is honest.

“He’s a really good man. He’s an honest man. He’s a truthful man. He has so much integrity. He cares so much about journalism. And yes, he’s a really good dad, but I know you can trust him because, as any good daughter does, I have tested him on that.”
