‘Walking Dead’ Actor Chad L. Coleman Apologizes For Rant On Subway


The Walking Dead actor Chad L. Coleman apologizes for his subway rant about Baltimore riots. The 3-minute subway rant by the actor who played Tyreese on the hit AMC series and “Cutty” on The Wire, was blamed on “built up frustration” regarding the Freddie Gray death.

Chad Coleman noted in his apology for the subway rant, that alcohol was not a factor in his Baltimore riots verbal tyrade. The Walking Dead and The Wire actor said his cursing and ranting was not because he was “boozed up.”

Chad L. Coleman began his subway rant on the N0. 4 train ride after another passenger allegedly used the “N-word.”

“I wanna know where my humanitarians are. I’m not trying to f–k with you!” he shouted while pacing around the train,” The Walking Dead actor shouts in the subway rant video. “Yes, I am Chad L. Coleman. I am on ‘The Wire,’ ‘The Walking Dead,’ I’m not trying to f–k with you. I’m telling you the truth. Yes, I’m an actor! You want me on TMZ? Record it!”

“It was all just a big mistake,” a relative of Coleman’s reportedly told TMZ about The Wire actor’s subway rant.

Coleman told TMZ that he heard a guy and a girl on the train talking, trying to figure out where they knew him from. During the interview, The Walking Dead actor claims that the man told the woman, “No, we don’t know that n*****,” and that comment angered him and set off the rant.

Chad L. Coleman is also known for his acting in Horrible Bosses, and The Green Hornet. Coleman has been married to Sally Stewart since June 7, 1999 and they have two children. He also appeared on several It’s Always Sunny in Philaephia television episodes and also on Family Guy, Criminal Minds, and I Hate My Teenage Daughter. The Walking Dead actor reportedly served in the United States Army from 1985 to 1989.
